The Seventh Annual Global Technology Symposium concluded successfully on March 26, 2010, in Palo Alto, California. The 2010 Symposium focused on the theme of “disruptive technologies for the economic recovery.” Participants discussed questions such as:
- Can “disruptive technologies” lead the world out of recession?
- Are emerging markets leading the world out of recession? Are developed countries over-regulating the financial sector?
- What is the “state of the venture capital industry” in California and abroad?
- Can the energy industry in commercial new technology?
- Nanotechnology: the next big thing?
- What is the nature of leadership?
